Skoda has improved the globally successful Kodiaq almost four years after launching the initial model in its SUV program. The aerodynamics of the Skoda Kodiaq, which can be configured as a 7-seater, has been improved. Furthermore, for the first time, full LED Matrix headlights are available as an option on this huge Skoda SUV. Furthermore, the sporty range-topping Skoda Kodiaq RS has received a new, more powerful TSI engine in addition to a stylistic overhaul. From 2021, the improved Kodiaq will be available.

For Skoda, the Kodiaq SUV was a game-changer. It was the first model in the SUV campaign, and it ushered in a brand-new, fast-growing car class. Our clients and the international trade press applaud the Skoda Kodiaq for its brand-specific attributes, including outstanding value for money, abundant space, and a broad selection of accessories. Now, with new features like full LED Matrix lighting and ergonomic seats, we've further enhanced the specification of our huge SUV, providing even more, safety and comfort.

The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq appears even more emotional and self-assured due to a revised Skoda design language. From 2021, the upgrade will be available. In addition, aluminum-effect decoration on the front and rear aprons will be available on the Active, Ambition, and Style versions, giving the SUV even more off-road appeal. A restyled front reinforces the Kodiaq's bold image with a raised bonnet and a revised, more upright Skoda grille.

The massive SUV from the Czech automaker comes standard with LED headlights and, for the first time, may be customized with full LED Matrix headlights. New alloy wheels with a diameter of up to 20 inches add to the car's sporty and distinctive appearance. The new gloss black rear spoiler and finlets on the sides of the rear window, as well as special Aero alloys and modified front and rear bumpers, help to reduce drag. In addition, the Kodiaq RS now has a model-specific front bumper that is distinct and dynamically designed.

Skoda upgrades the interior of the Kodiaq with new ornamental strips, contrasting stitching, and increased LED ambient lighting functions. In addition, for the first time, ergonomic, perforated leather seats with multiway electric seat adjustment, ventilation, and massaging function are available as options for the huge SUV. The Ambition and Style trim levels' optional Eco seats include high-quality seat covers made of vegan, recycled materials. In addition to the central speaker in the dashboard and the subwoofer in the boot, the CANTON sound system is now available with ten speakers.

The Virtual Cockpit, which features a 10.25-inch display and four different layouts, is optional on most models but standard on the Kodiaq RS. Both the RS and the Kodiaq SPORTLINE have an alternative layout, the Sport layout. In addition, a new version of Crew Protect Assist has been added to the range of assistance systems. This updated model features more radar sensors in the back to detect vehicles that could cause a rear-end collision.

The sporty top-of-the-line Skoda Kodiaq RS has received not only a cosmetic update but also a new engine. The 2.0 TSI petrol engine is from the Volkswagen Group's EVO generation and produces 180 kW (245 hp). At the same time, this engine weighs less than half as much as the TDI. Moreover, this power unit's performance is even better when combined with the new 7-speed DSG transmission. The 1.5 TSI, which produces 110 kW (150 hp), and the 2.0 TSI, which produces 140 kW (190 hp), as well as the 2.0 TDIs, which has 110 kW (150 hp) and 147 kW (200 hp), are all from Volkswagen Group's newest EVO generation.

Skoda's hugely successful SUV marketing began with the debut of the Kodiaq in 2016. It rapidly won over customers, automotive experts, and the trade press with its striking, emotive design language, high-quality craft, and great value for money. This SUV's excellent quantity of space, with a total length of 4.70 meters, is particularly striking. The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq can seat up to seven people with the optional fold-out third row of seats. The boot can also accommodate 2,065 l when the rear seats are folded down.

The Kodiaq began production in 2016 at Skoda's Kvasiny facility in the Czech Republic. The carmaker invested approximately 290 million euros in modernizing this site by 2018, turning it into a center of excellence for SUV production as part of the brand's SUV strategy. In addition, Skoda established production lines for its large Kodiaq SUV in China, India, and Russia in the following years to accommodate the massive international demand for the Kodiaq. As a result, more than 600,000 Skoda Kodiaqs will have rolled off the manufacturing lines worldwide by the end of March 2021.
