The 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe now includes Jeep Performance Parts' Gorilla Glass windshield as standard. In addition, the color palette grows with new Silver Zenith and High-Velocity paints, joining the Wrangler's color palette, including Black, Brilliant White, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal metallic, Sting Grey, Hydro Blue, Snazzberry and Sarge Green. These colors can be combined with a soft or hardtop in black or the bodywork color, depending on the equipment.
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid has a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors that generate a combined power of 380 hp and a maximum torque of 637 Nm. This hybrid system allows the Jeep Wrangler 4xe 4×4 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.
The battery pack offers a range of up to 50 kilometers in zero-emission mode. In addition, the battery is fully recharged in less than three hours if charged at 7.4 kWh.
But the most significant thing is that this SUV will be the only one offered as a 2022 plug-in hybrid version for the European market. In other words, the new Wranglers sold in the Old Continent will be electrified. This plug-in hybrid system responds to Jeep's plan to produce 70% of all Jeep vehicles sold worldwide by 2025 with a hybrid powertrain option.
