This year marks a milestone for BMW's sportiest models, which carry the M title. The brand-new BMW M2 is invited as well. The final testing phase of the new BMW M2 is wrapping up with only a few months left until the world premiere. On the highway and the racetrack, the next generation will provide the same level of pure driving pleasure as the outgoing model.

The performance of the 2023 BMW M2 is on par with that of the previous generation's flagship model, the BMW M2 CS. The BMW M2 is powered by a version of the 6-cylinder engine found in the BMW M3 and BMW M4. A 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission will also be available. The sporty character is bolstered by the adaptive M-chassis and the rear-wheel drive.

The BMW M2's temporary camouflage conceals a sporty design with signature BMW M touches. For example, carbon fiber roofs and customized M-chairs fashioned from carbon fiber are available as add-ons through the menu system. To rephrase: lighter load, brighter future.

The 2023 BMW M2 sports car will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, with sales beginning in April 2023.
